WELCOME!

RETROSPECT RESIDENCE was born out of a love for historic preservation, classical architecture, and looking to the past for inspiration.

Soon after graduating from school, I became a stay-at-home mom.  While motherhood brought an innumerable amount of joy, the strong desire to pursue design mixed with a deep love for the historic home and community in which we lived left me unsettled.

When a Landmarks Commissioner opportunity arose, I jumped at the chance and was appointed to serve my Utah community for three years - celebrating, appreciating, and promoting historic preservation.

After a move to the PNW, I started my design business focused on residential consultations and staging and chose to continue my education and work towards my Interior Design BAA. I graduated summa cum laude in June of 2021, completed a certificate in Classical Architecture through the ICAA in 2022 and a certificate in Sustainable Preservation from Cornell in 2023. I am currently working in a local architecture firm and pursuing my NCIDQ Certification.

This website is a place for me to share my passion with you. Whether you’re here to peruse my portfolio, read my blog, or discover what I’m all about, what I hope for most is connection and that you’ll leave feeling inspired and uplifted.

Thanks for joining me!
