We're Just Being Eco-Friendly
I love how so many businesses and people are sharing what they know to help us get through quarantine. Nordstrom shared how to make their tomato soup and crostini and… now my life is complete. I was a regular consumer of said soup back in my newlywed college days while working in the handbags department and always wanted to get my hands on the recipe. I distinctly remember discussing this very desire with a coworker and attempting, but failing, to recreate it. Also, I was a terrible sales person. #introvert
Doubletree Hotel shared a recipe for their chocolate chip cookies which apparently people are really excited about. Gary says their cookies taste like freezer, but I’m guessing if I make a fresh batch at home they’d be pretty good? I’m going to give it a shot, let me know if you do the same.
A good reminder… “Your Father in Heaven loves you, whoever you are, whatever you are struggling with. You are enough. You are enough. He loves you just the way you are, right here, right now, in all your beautiful messiness.” -Jennifer Kearon
How making art helps your brain. "Creativity in and of itself is important for remaining healthy, remaining connected to yourself and connected to the world."
The real meaning of passion that put it in a new perspective for me.
Gary put up our hammocks last week! It’s my favorite spot to be on a sunny day.
My girls sometimes complain that they wish we had grass. With our house being on a slope and all the trees, I don’t think a lawn will ever make sense with our property. Sorry kids, we’re just being eco-friendly (unintentionally…).
The laundry room feels so much better with the walls and ceiling patched and painted! I’m hoping to paint the half bath this weekend. Thank goodness the paint store is considered essential.
